There are several reasons that you might need to see a dentist in an emergency. These include toothache, swelling, broken teeth, trauma to front teeth or lost fillings & crowns.

At an emergency appointment, we will always aim to identify the cause of the pain by close examination, tests and x-rays. We will then provide treatment to relieve this and get you comfortable again. This may be a long-term fix such as an extraction, or it may a temporary treatment like a dressing that will need to be replaced with something more permanent.  
All treatment options and costs will be discussed with you at this appointment. The wide variety of dental emergencies means that we will book you in to assess your treatment needs and you may need to return for further treatment.
