Oral Surgery at Chelwood Dental Care

There are many reasons that you may need to have a tooth removed: treating decay or infection, making space for orthodontic treatment or removing teeth that are impacted or causing other problems.

Most extractions can be carried out by your general dentist but some can require more specialised treatment - this can especially apply to wisdom teeth which are often only partially erupted.

At Chelwood Dental care, we are lucky to have the skills of oral surgeon Hassan Ismail, who is able to treat these cases. This means our patients can be treated in a comfortable, familiar environment, and also avoid the long waiting lists that can come from a hospital referral.
